is a dancer, choreographer and dance researcher. She is professor for applied dance research and choreography at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Cologne. She studied modern dance in Montreal as well as dramatics and history in Berlin and Montreal. After her graduation „Körper-Inszenierungen“ at the FU Berlin (Politischer Körper: Ausdruckstanz, Choreografien des Protests und die Arbeiterkulturbewegung in der Weimarer Republik, Münster: Lit 2004) she worked as a research assistant at the FU Berlin and helped building up the MA in dance research. In 2008/2009 she was assisting professor at the Department of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies der University of California, Berkeley. Further she works as a choreographer with her own company BodyAttacksWord. Further publications are, amongst others: "Prozessuale Archive.
