Niels Ewerbeck, born 1962 in Cologne, is an Art Historian and Theatre Manager. He was a gallery owner in Vienna, before he turned his interest to the field of theatre. He has been working at: Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz Berlin, Theater der Welt 1996 in Dresden, Hebbel-Theater Berlin. 1999 he was the founding director of FFT Düsseldorf (Forum Freies Theater). From 2004-2011 he was Manager and Artistic Director of Theaterhaus Gessnerallee in Zurich. Besides that he has divers lectureships and is member of diverse artistic boards. Since January 2012 he is Manager and Artistic Director of Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt.
