Prof. Ingo Diehl

studied stage dance in Hannover and New York and received his second diploma in Dance Pedagogy in Cologne in 2003. Since 1988 he worked as a dancer, choreographer, teacher and choreographic assistant for Tanzforum Köln, Tantheater Bremen and Island Ballet in Reykjavik as well as for a diverse range of Festivals. He has hold many lectures and lectureships at different Universities. Also he publishes professional articles. Further Diehl was reponsible for all questions of Education and the General Concept of the Education Projects in the frame of Tanzplan Deutschland. Amongst others he initiated the exchange between educational institutions for dance and dance pedagogy in Germany in 2005. Besides Bettina Masuch, Ingo Diehl built the Artistic Direction of the „1. Biennale Tanzausbildung/Tanzplan Deutschland“ in 2008 and developed the research project „Tanztechniken 2010 – Tanzplan Deutschland“ which has been published in cooperation with Dr. Friederike Lampert in spring 2011. Diehl is a founding member of the Federal Association „Dance in Schools“, he is initiator of the „Ausbildungskonferenz Tanz“, member of the comittee of experts in Art, Music and Design at the Institute ACQUIN e. V. and he is part of the working group „Education“ in the frame of Motion Bank.
