A project suggested by Reinhild Hoffmann in cooperation with Silke Bake, Kattrin Deufert, Thomas Plischke, Manos Tsangaris with musical-dramaturgical support by Alain Franco, Daniel Ott, Yoav Pasovsky, Tom Rojo Poller, Daniel Vezza with choreographic works from Antonia Baehr, Riki von Falken Frédéric Gies, Anna Huber, An Kaler, Kat Válastur and students of HZT: Alexandre Achour, Katharina Greimel, Miriam Jakob, Ana Laura Lozza, Ellinor Ljungkvist, Lee Meir, Anna Nowak, Annegret Schalke, Johanne Timm

In the frame of the John Cage-year students of HZT (Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz Berlin) have in cooperation with Akademie der Künste Berlin - presented a project in January 2012, which they have now adapted for the Dance Education Biennale. Starting point of this choreographic research are John Cages' Song Books. As almost every of his compositions, the Song Books are open notated and contain verbal and graphic assignments as base for indivdual and free implementations. From 90 songs 15 have been chosen for this test, to find collective readings and artistic navigations and to rehearse it as interdisciplinary "instructions to play".
