ELIA - European League of Institutes of the Arts- is one of the largest network-organizations of European arts education institutions and – universities and has currently around 350 member institutions. This meeting is intended to inform the representatives of all AK|T member-institutions about how an art-academy or – university can engage with ELIA and benfit from this network. This information is given first-hand by representatives of ELIA: Schelte van Ruiten - ELIA Deputy Director as well as Efva Lilja, member of the ELIA Board and the director of the University of Dance and Circus in Stockholm. During the meeting experiences with and questions about the dance sector of ELIA will be addressed. The encounter is also meant to give the ELIA representatives insight into the national network-activities of AK|T and into the program at the Biennial in Dance Education.
