1.) IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES OF AK|T

2.) ELECTION OF AKT|SPEAKERS

1.) Talk about the implementation of AK|T's guidelines and the improvement of cooperations within AK|T. The understanding of common activities and initiatives, such as the exchange in between institutions, has grown and resulted in a better networking between the education institutions and within the profssional field of work. AK|T is developing to a model and will strengthen the field of dance in Germany. How can the implementation of AK|T's guidelines as well as the cooperation within AK|T be further improved?

1. Goals and Functions of AK|T
1.1. AK|T conduces to the coordination of functions, which are assigned to the dance education institutions.

1.2. AK|T shall support the cooperation and communication between education institutions and shall debate about questions with regard to contents and, organisation, as far as they are of national importance.

1.3. AK|T shall represent the interests of dance education in communication with all relevant political institutions and boards, such as

  • Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF),
  • Bundesministerium für Kultur und Medien (BKM),
  • Rektorenkonferenz der Musikhochschulen (RKM),
  • Hochschulrektorenkonferenz (HRK),
  • Kultusministerkonferenz (KMK)
  • Ständige Konferenz Tanz
  • Deutscher Kulturrat
  • Stiftungen wie z.B. Kulturstiftung des Bundes

1.4. on behalf of students, AK|T shall argue for the further development of education- and work opportunities

1.5. On behalf of graduates AK|T shall help to faciliate the change over into practical work through the dialogie with:Production centres, Theaters, Promoters, the Conference of Directors of Ballet and Dance Theatre, Deutscher Bühnenverein, jobs employment agency, the association of German Stage Professional

1.6. AK|T is looking for dialogue with institutions and persons, which could be of interest for dance education.

2.) Election of AK|T Spreakers
After two years with the speaker's group: Jason Beechey  (1. Sprecher), Dieter Heitkamp, Vera Sander and Christine Neumeyer, the time has come for a new election. Rotation in between the AK|T Partners is requested.
