During the 1. Dance Education Biennale / Tanzplan Deutschland 2008 Berlin the potential of multimedia tools for dance education was discussed intensively and explored with students in several workshops. The technical developments as well as the possibilities for users in the internet have grown rapidly. The realisation of new multimedia Internet formats and questions of archiving and transmission of dance knowledge through digital platforms has expanded the access to historical sourcess and actual research.

During this Panel discussion with international experts new tendencies will be introduced. They will discuss the need for digital tools and possible how to use them on a daily base in Dance Education Programmes.

The Workshops will take place at HfMDK.
